DBW Productions is a FULL Service, digital recording studio run by producer/musician, David Chamberlin. Located in the Los Angeles suburb, Woodland Hills, the studio features a large acoustically tuned control room, large performance room, 2 additional iso booths and 2 "guitar amp" closets. All rooms are completely wired with mic lines, speaker inputs and 2" pvc pipe so any type of amp can go anywhere! The big room has a nice live sound perfect for any instrument and the control room is completely silent, thanks to a seperate machine room. The studio incorporates hard disk computer recording using the Apple Powermac (2.8ghz 8 core) Pro Tools LE 7.4, Digital Performer 6 and Logic 8 software (for an overview of hard disk recording click here) and features the Mackie Digital 8 Bus mixing console and high end mic pres for pristine sound quality. Using the these software programs and the Mackie D8B allows for total recall and automation of all sessions. Whether your project is a one song demo or a full length CD, DBW uses cutting edge technology and state-of-the -art equipment to achieve the highest quality sound at competitive prices!
DBW Productions specializes in working with Singer/Songwriters. Most all production can be done "in house" . This includes expert guitar and bass guitar playing, keyboard and drum programming, lead and backing vocals and even live drums!  Well, it's official, I'm now a celebrity! Well, kind of. I was lucky to get this gig on a show called "Dog Bites Man" on Comedy Central(click here to watch video). All I was told was that I was going to be filimed working wth a singer/songwriter for some unknown "documentary." The artist turned out to be actor/comedian, Zach Galifianakis (left), aka "The Finger." We wrote a smash hit together that was later used throughout the episode. |

 Billy Denmead's debut CD, "Me" is done and out. Billy flew all the way from Orlando, FL to work with me! We go way back to playing in a band with Jani Lane (from Celebrity Fit Club/Warrant). Bill sounds amazing and his songwriting is top notch! I'm playing all the instruments with Steven Chamberlin on drums. |

The following is a current lineup of some of the projects recently completed or being worked on at DBW:
• Steve Keopka, ex bandmate with Billy Denmead and old friend of mine is staring work on a new CD. Steve is doing tracks at home in Florica and I'm adding finishing touches and mixing. Steve has a killer rock style and great voice.
• Uber guitarist and long time friend (24 years,yikes!) Chris Juergensen was just in doing a demo for Xotic effects for their killer new distortion pedal called the "BB plus." I'm happy to report I have one myself.
• The incomparable Alex Beaton has released his latest CD, "The Songs of Robert Burns" with myself co-producing and playing various instruments along with some other famous folks like Alasdair Fraser on fiddle and Eric Rigler on Uilleann Pipes and whistles .
• Singer/songwriter extrodinaire, Chris Blake, is done recording his CD at DBW. Look for it soon but in the mean time take a listen at his Myspace page. I'm doing the production end of things.
• Steve Simpson is back in the studo working on his 2nd CD. His first was produced here back in 2000. It's nice to see Steve again.
• Colorz of Heaven have released their debut christian CD. I'm playing all the guitars while the talented girls supply the gorgeous vocals
• Oded Gross did a great song here and then did an even better video that you can see on YouTube.
• Long time DBW client Musiconcepts recorded a song that is now a YouTube video with yours truely producing and singing it!
• Multi-instrumentalist, Paul McCallum is done recording his great bluegrass CD with me.
• Native American flutest Scott Cunningham's 5th release, Mirror Lake, is now out in stores.
• Billy Denmead is back in working on his 2nd CD with me!
• Lori Carpenter is back working on tunes that she's written with Journey's own Neal Schon
• Richard Burr is working on a double CD. He's already done 2 cds with me prior.
• The folk duo, "Gemini" is working on their CD project
•Long time DBW favorite, Dave Newquist is coming down all the way from Bakersfield to record his debut CD! Congrats Dave!!
